Driving - in Jakarta

| Driving in Jakarta :O :O :O |
A few days ago I had the great pleasure of driving
home from work, as Per was tired of spending hour after hour driving in bad
traffic (rightly so). Now let's just ignore the fact that I look like a
grandmother on the picture (thanks Per) - which btw is a pretty accurate
depiction of my driving style (the closer to the front window the better haha).
Driving on the wrong side of the road is SO WEIRD! You
have to look to the left all the time (something Per kept reminding me of haha)
while the freakin stick is on the wrong side and has to be operated with your left
hand (really?!).. So confusing.. And let's not forget JAKARTA traffic!
Cars, motorcycles, bicycles, vendors, and hobby traffic policemen everywhere!
All the time!
But. Except for the time I forgot to look to the left when there was a big blue car there, the time I got stuck in the middle of a
crossing during a red light, and the time I almost shat myself when surrounded
by millions of fearless motos in yet another crossing, Per said I did REALLY
WELL (hahaha). The panic in his eyes said the opposite...
